Xmas Blanket featuring a Merry Moggy

Xmas Blanket shows a lively group of cats enjoying the holiday season. The printed line labels each feline with a specific breed and a funny action like preening or sneaking near a pudding. This design captures the chaotic spirit of pets during the holidays for anyone who has ever watched their cat ruin the decorations.

Behind the design

A diverse cast of twelve cats occupies the white background, each identified by a handwritten caption that pairs their breed with a seasonal activity. In the upper left, a long-haired cat stands beside the text Proud Persian preening, while a spotted cat lies on its back near a bauble under the label Bored Bengal helping. To the right, a tortoiseshell cat sits next to a plum pudding marked with the word Tortoiseshell sneaking. Below them, a striped cat walks past the words Tabby decorating, and a fluffy white cat wears red tinsel labeled Festive fluffball sparkling. An orange cat wearing a Santa hat sits beneath Maine Coon miaowing, while a small cream cat rests inside a green stocking titled Sweet ragdoll dreaming. A black cat emerges from a blue gift box under the caption Bombay in a box.... A tan cat runs through string lights labeled Surprise Siamese!, and a tri-color cat wears a winter hat and scarf near the words Cosy calico. At the bottom right, a black and white cat wears reindeer antlers beside the phrase Merry moggy, and a tiny kitten peeks out from a decorated tree with the text And a kitten in a Christmas tree! scattered nearby. Small musical notes, hearts, stars, and paw prints fill the empty spaces between the illustrations.

Who gets the joke

Cat owners will immediately recognize the humor in a Bored Bengal helping with decorations or a Sneaking Tortoiseshell guarding the food. This Xmas Blanket becomes a conversation piece when draped over a sofa where guests spot the Bombay in a box or the kitten hiding in the tree. It suits anyone who finds the holiday chaos caused by pets more entertaining than the traditional decor itself.
